“That was such a FUN” Lana reveals her favourite controversial storylines in WWE

Former WWE star Lana

Lana has been a part of multiple storylines in the WWE industry. She has performed both in action roles as well as in managerial roles. She doesn’t have much WWE in-ring experience but with her skills, she made the audience recognise her.

She spent almost 3 years of her career as a ‘social ambassador’ for former United States Champion and her husband Rusev. Her Russian accent had established a unique character trait to her. She recently opened up on the ‘Last Word On Sports’ and revealed her favourite storylines from her WWE career.

Lana said that she enjoyed the Russian character that she played. Rusev had fought John Cena at WrestleMania with our tank and Russian soldiers and she was highly impressed with it. She said, “That was such a fun, year-long story we had!” She also thanked Triple H and Vince for giving her the opportunity to play the Russian villain on TV.

Her managerial role went quite smoothly but she probably found stuck in a similar role and thus shifted to the wrestling role. She joined hands with Naomi and Tamina and formed the team B.A.D. She later went ahead to go one on one against her fellow superstars.

She later went on to start a romantic twist with Bobby Lashley. The main aim of the story was to make Rusev (now Miro) but the storyline couldn’t gather much heat since Rusev was drafted into SmackDown really soon. However, she revealed that this romantic storyline was the most relatable one for the fans.

Talking about general human nature, she said, “Most people in their life fall in love a couple of times, go through heartbreak, and eventually, find room in their hearts to love again.” She thus finds it to be a story that “genuinely connects” the audience.

She later had an enthralling feud with Nia Jax and the wrestling industry liked it. Nia would make it mandatory to Samoan Drop Lana on the table every Monday Night RAW episode. “She put me through 9 tables!!!! That will always hold a place in my heart,” was Lana’s take on her WWE storyline.
