Business was booming when we had The Hurt Business together

During the pandemic era of WWE , The Hurt Business emerged out to be a menace group of four utterly talented men including the likes of a leader in MVP, the CEO in Bobby Lashley and two vital supporters in the form of Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. They were an art of how “Black men” should be represented in front of their audience and fans. MVP started to recollect these terrifically talented superhumans in a vision to reinstate their dooming glory and he made a gem of a group out of them.

Under his guidance, Shelton and Cedric became the Raw Tag Team Champions by defeating The New Day at Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2021 for the 1st time in their career as a team, however they lost their titles to The New Day on March 15th WWE Raw.

However after having a great run WWE somehow decided to pull cracks between them as during the March 29th edition of Monday Night Raw, Lashley attacked an outspoken Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander after they began rushing over MVP putting the blame behind their downfall as a team, shattering the long-assembled Hurt Business into pieces and to no a no shock many fans were highly disappointed by the move WWE made as they started to enjoy them seeing together on Television a lot and inplied that this could become on of the best WWE factions in a long time.

Recently, Bobby Lashley joined his Hurt Business fellowmates Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander on WWE’s Table for 3 where he spoke about the representation of The Hurt Business as a group and their mindful impact on children watching at home,

“We were able to give our audience a different look at black talent because, before, it was always like you had to be militant, or dancing, or you had to be this or that. I was like, ‘No, man. All of us make good money. We carry ourselves in a certain way so we don’t have to be thugs, we don’t have to be this, we don’t have to be that,’ we can show kids such as my son and kids growing up that these three black athletes that are very talented, they can do anything else, but at the same time, they’re not a thug, they’re not tap dancing, they’re not doing any of this.

Lashley won the WWE Championship for the 2 nd time in his long-storied career by defeating The Miz during an episode of WWE Raw dated March 1, 2021 in a Lumberjack match.

Fast forward an year where could be find our Hurt Business stalemates on the WWE Television? Well, talking about each of them one by one we can find the downgrade specifically on Benjamin and Alexander.

First, the former CEO of The Hurt Business, Bobby Lashley has further cemented his position on the roster as a dominating force Since the day he came under the shades of MVP. He had an incredible WWE Championship title run for the better part of 2021.

On the other hand, his longtime mentor MVP and former Leader of The Hurt Business showed his back on Lashley on the post-Wrestlemania edition of WWE Raw this year joining forces with the Colossus Omos.

Whereas, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander are the worst affected by the disbanding of the group as both barely gets any TV time and usually wrestles on WWE Main Event tapings in some random matches as a disappointment to the fan perspective.
