Lawrence Taylor is regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time. Lawrence Taylor has earned a record-breaking three consecutive AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year honours, which proves that he is indeed one of the all-time great defensive players in the history of NFL. As a result of Taylor’s achievements throughout the 1986 season, he was selected as the most valuable player.

In the 1980s and early 1990s, Lawrence Taylor was a dominant Linebacker and had a formidable impact on the game. Taylor is renowned for changing the pass rushing strategies, defensive strategies, and offensive line blocking tactics. He is also known to have altered the offensive formations in the game.

From 1984 through 1990, Lawrence Taylor had at least 10 sacks, with a career-high of 20.5 coming in 1986. Defensive coaches were so terrified of Lawrence Taylor that they would alter their entire game plans in an effort to stop him and avoid making any plays in his direction.

The feud between Bam Bam Bigelow and Lawrence Taylor was heavily promoted. The story was very well paced and set the stage for a showdown at WrestleMania. Pat Paterson served as a special guest referee.

At the event, Bam Bam Bigelow showered numerous headbutts on Lawrence Taylor and thereafter delivered a moonsault, which knocked the footballer to the ground. As Taylor was about to take command of the match, Bigelow performed a kick at the back of Taylor’s head and delivered a headbutt from the top rope on Taylor.

At the climax, Lawrence Taylor jumped from the second rope, and struck Bigelow with his forearm, and went for the pinfall, which saw him defeat Bigelow. After his defeat, Bam Bam Bigelow was shamed by Ted Dibiase for losing against a football player.

Both of the men delivered at the event, with many calling it a career-defining performance for Bigelow, and he was also great in his selling ability. Taylor, too, showed great athleticism and fought like a pro.

The match, though, received mixed reviews from the fans, with some saying that it was a bad decision to make a pro wrestler lose against a football player as it made professional wrestling look bad. Nevertheless, the event is regarded as one of the most memorable in wrestling history.
