“Maybe or maybe not”; Becky Lynch against popular WWE Legend can be dream match

Becky Lynch is currently serving as a despicable heel on the main-roster. She recently lost her women’s title to Bianca Belair and currently is involved in a feud against the recently returned Asuka. Continuing her heel antics on last week’s RAW, Becky attacked both Asuka and Bianca Belair during their match to determine Asuka as a worthy contender for Belair’s championship.

“I was hosting the events in Kitchener and Toronto. Becky Lynch was being a little bit of a brat. So, it came down to a little slap from Trish Stratus to put her in her place. Will it result in anything else? I don’t know, I still get asked about the Sasha Banks–Trish Stratus moment from the Rumble from 2018. That hasn’t come to fruition so far. At this point, I’ve just been focused on the show [Canada’s Got Talent] and I don’t know,”

She added that she is watching Becky lynch hitting the lowest bottom in her career, and is “waiting patiently” to see how things unfold:

“I saw Asuka has returned to WWE television so I’m going to be patiently watching that feud unfold. Becky in the meantime has hit rock bottom, lost her stuff, she lost her Women’s championship. I’m always here waiting in the wings and watching. Maybe or maybe not, that’s what I’ll say to you guys. People were pretty interested. It was kind of fun though.”

Becky Lynch vs Asuka good for women’s wrestling?

Becky Lynch attacked both Asuka and Bianca Belair during their match to determine Asuka as a worthy contender for Belair's championship.

A title only legitimizes the superstar’s run as dominant heel or a super baby face. This was seen in the feud between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. While WWE often claims to be the forebearer of Women’s revolution, it does not stand on its words, often shown in its underwhelming non-title storylines in the women’s division which has often been overlooked by the WWE. Asuka against Becky Lynch is something that can legitimize the women’s division, since both of them already established superstars and the factor of a compelling storyline, it can help build the division without a fail.
