2024 has proved to be an unfortunate start for WWE, as several stars have suffered injuries in the past few weeks or so.

Being a wrestler is not easy, as it comes with the risk of potential career-threatening injuries. The majority of WWE superstars try to be safe in the ring and careful so that they don’t hurt any other star while performing a move. WWE legend Triple H once claimed that his priority was the safety of his opponents.

However, injury is not something they can control, and unfortunately, there are lots of superstars who are currently out of action because of injury. A fan shared a list of currently injured superstars who are out of action right now. The list includes some of the top stars, like Big E, Seth Rollins, and Sheamus.

Big E has been out since 2022 due to a horrific neck injury he suffered at the hands of Ridge Holland while he was performing a move. Some reports say there is a possibility he might not even wrestle again. Stars like Charlotte Flair, Sonya Deville, and Dakota Kai suffered a torn ACL and have been out of action since.

Some factions or tag teams had to break up due to the injuries of important members of their group, like Sheamus and Erik. The members of the Brawling Brutes, Holland and Pete Dunne, have gone their way, and the other half of the Viking Raiders, Ivar, has made a name for himself as a singles competitor on Raw. Needless to say, 2024 has not been a good start to the year in terms of injuries for wrestlers.

Wrestling fans are worried as several top superstars are out of action due to injury

The fans watch WWE for their favorite stars, and when one of those stars gets injured, the whole community becomes worried about the wellness of that star. The serious and career-threatening injuries these superstars go through also clarify one thing: wrestling is pretty much real.

One fan showed concern for his favorite superstar, Seth Rollins, and hoped that he would get well soon and get ready for WrestleMania. Some fans felt sad for NXT superstar Wes Lee, who had to relinquish his title due to an injury.

While one fan said WWE needs to reduce the number of house shows so that the wrestlers can recover in time. The majority of the fans criticized the people who often say wrestling is not real and realized how dangerous wrestling is. All in all, the majority of the WWE Universe expressed its concern for the well being of the talent.
