The Royal Rumble is one of the most anticipated WWE Premium Live Events. Every year the winner of the match gets to the main event of WrestleMania against a world champion of their choice. On the other hand, Liv Morgan is a holder of an unwanted record where she finished second in the Royal Rumble match back to back years. In 2023, Morgan came up just short of Rhea Ripley and in 2024 the same story happened as Bayley won the women’s Royal Rumble by eliminating her.

In a recent interview with WWE on TNT Sports, Morgan revealed that she is not disheartened by these events, establishing that her journey is just beginning. Furthermore, she spoke about returning at #30 and lasting till the end with Bayley. While the former Women’s Champion appreciated the reaction and support, she laid out her aspirations to win next year’s Royal Rumble match.

You know, last year I entered second and I lasted to the very end with Rhea Ripley and this year I entered number 30 and I lasted to the very end with Bayley. So I'm hoping next year is my year.

The girl from Jersey was eliminated by the eventual winner for the second consecutive year in the Royal Rumble match. Other than that, Morgan heaped praise on the current crop of female talent. She also commented on the image of all the competitors lying outside the ring during Bayley’s celebration, claiming that she “loved” it.
