The Misfits PRIME card was the biggest night in crossover boxing history. In the co-main event, Logan Paul defeated MMA fighter Dillon Danis with ease. After the fight, The Maverick called out WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio for his next match in the promotion. Moreover, he challenged the legendary luchador for the United States Championship.

“I’m a WWE superstar, so I’m moving back to the WWE. There are some championships that I wanna get, I got my eye on something. I got my eye on someone. I’m an American boy, and I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once, brother, and I’m coming for that US Championship,” Logan Paul said.

Obviously, The Maverick was referring to his debut bout at WrestleMania 38, where he teamed up with The Miz and conquered the Mysterio family, Rey, and Dominik. Since then, Logan Paul has proven why he belongs to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. Time and time again, he has proven his skills in the ring.

He wrestled some of the top superstars in WWE such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and pushed them to the limits. Also, fans have pointed out how he manages to “steal the show” every time he steps foot in the ring. With Logan Paul challenging Rey Mysterio, it has left the internet in a frenzy.

At the moment, it seems that the match will take place at the upcoming premium live event, Crown Jewel. In fact, Logan Paul is advertised for the spectacular event. Needless to say, the 28-year-old will have to prepare well enough if he has to capture the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio.

Santos Escobar responds to Logan Paul’s US title challenge

The WWE Universe is excited at the possibility of a match between Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio. However, there is one wrestler who was seemingly unhappy with The Maverick’s challenge, Santos Escobar. After last night’s announcement, the LWO member called out the social media megastar.

“Hey @LoganPaul After that embarrassing display, you’re in no position to demand a title opportunity, I got a rematch coming up with @reymysterio,” Santos Escobar wrote on his X account. Therefore, he is not only taking a dig at the 28-year-old athlete’s performance but also staking his claim as the #1 contender.

Previously, Escobar came close to defeating the masked luchador for the title. However, Mysterio got the better of his LWO brother in an enthralling match. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the Latino World Order once Logan Paul makes his return to the WWE.
