It has been barely a week or two since Logan Paul shocked the world and won the United States Championship. Nonetheless, the champion is making every possible effort to revive the lost glory of the championship. In a recent social media post, The Maverick attempted to pawn off his coveted WWE gold for a whopping $100,000.

Taking to his X, the 28-year-old uploaded a video of himself sitting in a pawn shop. In the shared video, Logan Paul made a staggering $100,000 offer to the proprietor in exchange for his belt. However, the shop owner seemed reluctant to buy the belt initially. Eventually, the two parties began their negotiations.

The owner asked Paul if he had the authority to pawn off the title. The Maverick facetiously responded that he was not familiar with the history behind the championship. But what he is fully aware of is that he beat Rey Mysterio to clinch the prestigious championship at Crown Jewel 2023, said Paul.

He was also asked about the potential buyers of this belt. To which, the champion casually name-dropped Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and LA Knight. He stated that either one of these superstars would have an interest in securing the belt. Moreover, Paul mentioning Knight in the video got the WWE fans talking in a big way about duking it out in a future program.

Logan Paul announces retirement from boxing to focus on his wrestling career

Around a month ago, Logan Paul competed in a fierce grudge match against his long-time rival, Dillon Danis, in Manchester. The former secured a decisive victory in a one-sided boxing bout. After his huge victory against the MMA fighter, The Maverick continued his winning streak. He was crowned the new United States Champion at Crown Jewel 2023.

Following his controversial title win at Crown Jewel, the champion has made quite a lot of public appearances, taking his coveted championship. In one such recent interview with Fox Business, Logan Paul hinted at his retirement from boxing. The champion stated that he is done as a boxer as of now and wants to focus on his WWE career.

Yeah, I think I’ve retired from boxing. I think I’ve done enough in this sport, going fully undefeated at 25 and 0. So yeah, I’m gonna be a wrestler now. Every company is going broke. So, full-time wrestler. As it stands, beat Rey Mysterio fair and square for the US championship. It was great.

Furthermore, he added that boxing is not as bankable as it used to be and that boxing promotions are going broke. Thus, the 28-year-old prefers to be a full-time wrestler now. Logan Paul has found immense success in WWE since the very day he stepped foot in the promotion. Paul has captured his very first gold in the company while wrestling only eight matches in WWE thus far.
