Logan Paul did his best to provoke Ricochet to the limit this week on RAW. The Maverick made his entrance to a chorus of boos raining down on him. After he got the mic, Paul recalled how Ricochet laid him out last week. Not only that, the former NXT North American Champion made a spectacle out of Logan’s misery. Keeping that in mind, The Maverick warned Ricochet about the beating he would inflict on him at SummerSlam.

Soon, Ricochet interrupted the outspoken YouTuber. For what it’s worth, the former perhaps received the loudest pop of his career on RAW. He regarded LoganPaul as a horrible human being. But for someone as fierce as Paul, it wasn’t difficult to reverse the diss on Ricochet. The boxer-turned-wrestler dragged Ricochet’s fiance into the mix.

Paul argued how thorny it would be for Samantha Irvin to announce Logan Paul as the winner at SummerSlam. This was a classic dig aimed at Ricochet in front of his own girl. The Maverick knew it would stink and the move actually turned out to be effective. At the end, Paul grounded The Human Highlight Reel and shot the scenes through the front camera of his mobile phone.

In this way, Logan Paul avenged last week’s ignominy. Going by the typical WWE logic, a heel superstar stood tall on the go-home show. That said, Ricochet could fancy his chances of outplaying Logan Paul this Saturday. And if he does pull off a win, it would be his biggest one thus far. For sure, this feud has escalated the latter’s stock on the main-roster.

Putting his character aside, Ricochet spoke highly of his SummerSlam opponent recently. In a fun chat with Chris Van Vliet, The Highlight of the Night commended Paul’s determination towards WWE. He recalled the time when The Maverick first visited the Performance Center and trained under Shawn Michaels. Also, the way Logan took it at first completely blew Ricochet away.

Samantha Irvin’s partner admitted he didn’t have any preconceptions about his current rival. He just went with the flow and let Paul do his thing in WWE. As it turned out, Ricochet grew appreciative of Paul’s work as a WWE superstar. Well, for good measure, Logan Paul’s greatest WWE moments came with Ricochet.

This year’s mid-air springboard collision at the Royal Rumble and the unrealistic Spanish Fly through the tables at Money in the Bank are two of their greatest moments. Since then, the fans have been clamoring for a singles clash between them. And finally, their wish is going to get fulfilled this Saturday in Detroit when both men tear the house down.
