Logan Paul started out as a part-timer but has signed a full-time contract with the WWE. Paul proved to be exceptionally good inside the ring, showcasing his inner talent. The Social Media Megastar has been the US Champion for over 144 days now. Recently, he spoke with Graham Bensinger on 5 Months with Logan Paul on YouTube and shared some never-before told stories.

Logan Paul stated how WWE CCO Triple H reacted to the former vowing to lace up the boots for a longer time. Hunter ridiculed him by calling him an “internet kid” who cannot handle the toughness and complex nature of this sport. Therefore, the WWE officials were not keen on buying Paul as a wrestler. The Stamford-based company was not ready to sign the 28-year-old Superstar initially.

Yeah, [I heard Triple H laughed when he heard I was interested in WWE], he told me to my face. I’m sure he thought ‘there’s no way this internet kid can hang with the toughness and complex nature of this sport.

Speaking of today, there is no denying WWE found a diamond in a coal mine. The resume of The Maverick speaks for itself. The YouTuber adapted to wrestling like it was a child’s play. In only 11 matches, Paul has wrestled the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Rey Mysterio, and more.

In his third match, he challenged The Tribal Chief for his Undisputed Universal Title. Moreover, he brought the Head of the Table to the limit and performed extra-ordinarily. In addition to that, he has participated in a Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Money In The Bank ladder match. Needless to say, there is no denying that the social media influencer has been a huge signee for the WWE.

John Cena wanted WWE to find Logan Paul years ago

In the aforementioned interview, a clip shows Graham asking WWE legend John Cena to shed light on Logan Paul. The 16-time World Champion asserted that WWE should’ve found the US Champion a long time ago. Moreover, he claimed that it was Paul’s time to shine bright in WWE. For a long time, both Cena and Paul were rumored to lock horns inside the ring.

I wish we found him years ago! Really, I think this would be his calling. I'm glad he's found us because he fits perfectly in what we do all right.
