Logan Paul and Tyson Fury
Logan Paul is one of the most famous and notable social media personalities and is counted as among the list of top youtubers in the world. In addition to being a Youtuber Paul has also worked in several movies as an actor, his most notable movies are The Thinning, The Thinning: New World Order, Airplane mode and Valley girl. He has also made guest appearances in TV shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Stitchers and Bizaardvark.
Logan Paul is also an Amateur Boxer and has been in one White Collar and two Professional Boxing Bouts. Paul faced KSI in his first bout and the match resulted in majority of draw with two judges scoring the contest evenly at 57-57 and the third one scoring 58-57 in favor of KSI. Paul’s second match was a professional one and it was also against KSI, it was won by KSI as two judges scored 57-54 and 56-55 for KSI, and one judge rating it 56-55 for Paul. Logan Paul faced his third and the recent one against Floyd Mayweather, the bout went the full eight rounds, but no winner was declared.
Logan Paul made his WWE debut in April 2021
Logan Paul made his WWE debut in 2021 on an edition of SmackDown, He appeared as a guest of Sami Zayn at the premiere of his documentary, with Zayn subsequently asking Paul to be at the ringside during his bout against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37. Following Kevin’s victory against Sami at WrestleMania 37, Logan rejoiced alongside Kevin before being smacked with the Stunner by him. Logan Paul returned to WWE on the September 3 edition of SmackDown as Happy Corbin’s special guest on The KO Show, when he assisted Corbin in his attack on Kevin Owens.
On an edition of RAW before WrestleMania 38, The Miz’s tag team partner to face the Mysterios; Ray and Dominik at WrestleMania 38 was revealed to be Logan Paul. At the Flagship event, Logan and Miz defeated the Mysterios; however, Miz assaulted Paul after the bout.
Dave Meltzer has shared his thoughts the potential of Logan Paul against Tyson Fury in WWE in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave stated that Omos would have been a choice to face Logan Paul, but that would seem horrible, and WWE would not want logan to beat Omos in a bout.
He stated that both Logan and Tyson Fury had little ring experience, and that Logan’s brother Jake was meant to fight Tyson’s brother Tommy on a show, but due to a visa issue, Jake ended up fighting Hasim Rahman Jr. Dave stated that this would also give Logan a storyline, and that Tyson versus Logan would draw a lot of outside wrestling interest, which WWE also want. According to certain rumours, Tyson wants to do it, but the question is if WWE would agree on his price.
“They could go with Omos but that match could be brutally bad and they seem to not want to beat Omos Even with Paul, who has an aptitude for pro wrestling, it’s two guys with one match each against each other and Fury didn’t show an aptitude in-ring in his debut but does have the talking ability and presence.”
“Jake vs. Tommy was scheduled for 8/6 in Madison Square Garden but a visa issue led to Jake fighting Hasim Rahman Jr.,on that show. Tyson vs. Logan would garner a ton of outside wrestling attention and WWE thrives on that. Within the company the belief was Fury wants to do it, but the price would be high and the question is whether WWE believes the price is worth it.”
Paul signed a multi-year contract with WWE on June 30, 2022.
