“We want to prove ourselves to them” : Los Lotharios speak on becoming a New Tag Team in WWE

Los lotharios speak about thir experience as a new tag team

WWE has experimented various times by bringing in two different superstars from different avenues and setting them up as a team. Several times the idea has worked and several others it has not. A recent example of such pairing can be said to be the RK-Bro which is a team of Randy Orton and Tom Riddle, both wildly different superstars but the team has made headlines in WWE.

WWE recently made a new tag team consisting of WWE Superstars Angel and Humberto. The duo is now called Los Lotharios which can be translated into English as Lethal Lovers. They have debuted on the WWE’s blue brand and is becoming increasingly famous for its kiss cam tv segments. Before having this spotlight, both superstars worked as individual competitors but did little of significance on the Main Roster.

What does the New Tag Team Los Lotharios feel about being paired up?

The Team Los Lotharios recently appeared for an interview with TV insider, and spoke about becoming a new team. They revealed that while they work well together they never never actually pitched for becoming a team in the WWE.

Humberto talked about trying different ideas to prove themselves to the WWE management: “They may have had different plans, but we are always pushing ideas just in case we can help them get there. We want to prove ourselves to them.”

Angel also added that while the two of them are working as a team, they can work in any style and would do whatever it takes to seize the opportunity: “We can work any style. We can work as a tag team or singles or a group. I think WWE is just teamwork where we talk to the writers, the producers, and the boss. We are always trying something different. Never stay in the same spot or wait for the opportunity. If you’re just waiting, it will never come.”

In September 2021 Los Lotharios started working as a tag team on Monday Night Raw. Since their formation as a team they have competed against WWE superstars like Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs and have also challenged Ricochet for the Inter-Continental Championship.
