Despite premature rumors, it appears like Bray Wyatt won’t be going into WWE’s Hall of Fame this year. Shortly after his unfortunate demise, the fans called for the honor. But as per Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has already finalized the list of inductees for 2024, and Wyatt has not made the cut. Though at one point, his name was brought up.

At least a day or two ago, he was not in consideration of being conferred with the HOF tag. The Bloodline’s Wiseman and legendary manager, Paul Heyman was the first to be announced as the inductee into the Hall of Fame class of 2024. But soon WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, announced that the U.S. Express would go in as well. The said team comprised Bray Wyatt’s father, Mike Rotunda, and uncle Barry Windham.

Both Mike and Barry learned about their induction through a special video message from Triple H. Due to his elders getting in, fans thought that Bray Wyatt would be within touching distance as well. But it appears like WWE has decided to put Bray’s case on hold for now. However, he will become a Hall of Famer soon, as noted in the aforementioned report.

The remaining inductees include Bull Nakano, Thunderbolt Patterson, and Muhammad Ali. Though it hasn’t been announced yet, The Rock‘s grandmother, Lia Maivia, is rumored to be the last inductee into this year’s Hall of Fame class. It comes after reports of The Great One’s heavy influence on deciding the names of the 2024 Hall of Fame surfaced on the internet. However, it was later debunked by the same source.

Triple H respected a Vince McMahon tradition for the 2024 Hall of Fame class

This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled to emanate from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on April 5. It will air immediately after WWE SmackDown. And even though Vince McMahon is not involved in the picture, Triple H has allegedly honored one of his rules.

Per WON, The Game’s handpicked Hall of Fame class of 2024 includes a female and a black Superstar. And that’s exactly how McMahon used to do it. The Cerebral Assassin ended up continuing that tradition, which many fans believe is rightly justified.

It would be interesting to see if McMahon shows up at this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony. He was present at last year’s edition. But plagued by recent allegations of heinous misconduct, it’s highly unlikely that the 78-year-old would appear on camera, even if he pays a visit backstage.
