Mandy Rose sparked a lot of debate after WWE released her from her contract. The former NXT Women’s Champion had turned silent after the news of her release surfaced on the internet. Her first words came a few days after her release, when she thanked her fans for standing by her during the tough times.
Mandy Rose had violated WWE policy by posting explicit content on her social media account at a premium website. This compelled her to quit her wrestling career. She is also open for any interviews, and she has once revealed that she was hurt by WWE’s decision since it was an abrupt one and she couldn’t believe it.
Mandy recently spoke to the New York Post and shared the story that happened back in 2022 regarding her release. She said that she wasn’t told about the racy images or anything else. WWE only told her about the subscription-based platform and proceeded with the firing procedures. Rose was asked to drop off her titles and leave the company the next day, which was a very heartbreaking thing for her.
She is also confused as to what WWE meant by “racy images” that pushed the company to subtly fire her. “The photo of me with two titles – I was completely na*ed underneath, that’s considered a racy photo, right?” she added. Mandy’s hurt was balanced by the massive support she got from the WWE Universe.

Many consider Mandy Rose’s release to be a correct decision
Mandy Rose has received a tremendous amount of support following her release. WWE fans and superstars such as Saraya aka Paige have stood with the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion as they demanded justice for her. However, there are many personalities who are completely against her content.
Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer claimed that Rose went too far with her content and that there was no way that WWE would have stopped it. The only choice that they had was to drop Mandy off their contracts and let her continue with her subscribed content business. However, Rose added, “I’m the only one watching out for myself and my career.”
Booker T also claimed that she had been unwise to proceed with her content over WWE. He made a bold claim, saying that her work would not shine as brightly as her WWE run did. Mandy Rose put all these notations in the bin as she revealed that her premium page had earned her more than $1 million since WWE released her.
