Regardless of what's coming his way in the immediate future, at least WWE believes that LA Knight is extremely popular among fans.

It’s quite perplexing to determine LA Knight’s current situation in WWE. He’s unimaginably popular among fans, but not so much with people in charge. This past Saturday, he was the favorite to become Mr. Money in the Bank. However, the 40-year-old got robbed of a victory by his jaws. For a split second, Knight almost unhooked the briefcase, only to be edged out by Damian Priest.
There have been a few concerns regarding what WWE really thinks of LA Knight. Ringside News recently dug into their sources to answer the same question. They received a one-liner response that quotes as, “Everyone is aware he is popular.” Well, that’s something anyone would imagine. At this point, it’s not about whether WWE knows Knight is over, it comes down to what they’re actually doing about that.
During the Money in the Bank post-show press conference, Triple H was asked about the self-proclaimed megastar. He kind of gave a ray of hope to Knight’s fans. The WWE CCO acknowledged the fact that LA Knight was a fan favorite heading into Money in the Bank. However, the real-life Paul Levesque asked everyone to wait, as good things only come to those who have patience.
The following night, during a live event in London, Knight addressed his MITB loss. Showing no signs of disappointment, the former Eli Drake vowed to make himself a champion without any external aid. That being said, fans are wondering what’s next for him. He was massively popular throughout this UK tour, beginning with SmackDown and continuing until WWE left for the United States.
Is LA Knight an absolute rip-off of The Rock?

Due to his unmatched mic prowess, LA Knight often draws comparisons with the likes of The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Reacting to those claims, the former Impact Wrestling star didn’t bother himself too much. He highlighted how some people love to connect everything with the past.
Well, a WWE Hall of Famer recently termed LA Knight as The Rock’s ultimate rip-off. Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash dismissed the ongoing LA Knight hype. The former NWO member sees nothing original in the current SmackDown star and believes that he’s only riding on The Brahma Bull’s coattails.
Shortly after Nash’s comments became public, he received massive backlash. Fans stood against Big Daddy Cool and thoroughly squashed his two cents on LA Knight. If looked at carefully, being compared to someone like The Rock is itself a blessing in disguise.
