Unexpected returns at the right moment are something on which Triple H has busted his head off recently. One of the most prominent names pop-corning up lately is Matt Cardona. The former Intercontinental Champion is keen on keeping everyone wondering about his comeback to the Stamford-based promotion.
Currently working for Impact Wrestling, he may very well end up being in WWE by next year. Actually, her wife Chelsea Green is believed to be WWE-bound at the moment. That being said, Cardona’s return chatters have filled up the Twitter feeds too. WrestlingNews.co recently shared a Tweet featuring Cardona’s vocals, addressing all the mumblings.
“I see what’s being talked about. Let the people talk. I’m a former tag team champion, former Intercontinental Champion, former United States champion. I do have some unfinished business. To quote Justin Bieber, never say never.”
To be honest, the present wrestling fans are pretty gullible. They can be worked up way too easily, and that often leads to useless miscommunications. Matt Cardona would not want any kind of social media backlash. Hence, he is playing safe. Being on the safer side of his words, he can easily avoid any information leaks about his future ventures.

What value can Matt Cardona provide to WWE?
The amount of hard work and dedication Cardona has put in since his WWE return is commendable. Fair enough, his current run with Impact has allowed him to explore some fascinating aspects of himself. Even more so, the 37-year-old is a testament to undying rage towards this business.
He’s made several appearances for All Elite Wrestling as well. If everything plans out well, we shouldn’t rule out a surprise entry next year in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, and we presumably know who it is.
Matt Cardona fka Zack Ryder (in WWE), had his last outing as a tag-team alongside Curt Hawkins in WWE. They presented the duo as a fan-favorite and even got established on SmackDown roster pretty well. However, the company disbanded them, thus ending Ryder’s stay there.

In his final period with WWE, he worked alongside Curt Hawkins and they even won the Raw Tag-Team Championship at Wrestlemania 35. Both men got released from the company as part of budget cuts. Fans would welcome his return with folded hands, as there’s certainly some unfinished business for him.
