Former Intercontinental Champion puts forward the “Three Cs” as his obligatory conditions for returning to WWE
During an interview, Matt Cardona revealed what it would take for him to make his return to WWE.

Former WWE Superstar Zack Ryder works in the indie promotions with his real name Matt Cardona. Having his wife Chelsea Green on the RAW roster of WWE, he makes sporadic appearances in various interviews with her. A recent interview happened with the Busted Open Radio where Cardona stated the essential “Three Cs” to be his conditions for getting into WWE.
During the interview with Busted Open Radio, Cardona was asked about his presence during Chelsea Green’s tag team championship victory on the latest episode of RAW. However, the question deviated as he enquired about his chances of returning to WWE. Replying to this, Matt Cardona stated three conditions in he he would make his retun to the Stamford-based promotion. Those are Cash, Creative, and probably Championship.
The former WWE superstar stated this to be the “Three Cs” he wants to be fulfilled to return to his old promotion. Matt Cardona also said that he did not go there begging for a job or to secure his presence backstage. Thus, he went backstage at RAW to celebrate his wife Chelsea’s championship victory alongside Sonya Deville. He was proud of her for winning the titles and also walked out of the sold-out State Farm Arena with her.
Matt Cardona then talked about being the Indy god and the Deathmatch King but never wanting to be the same. He recalled that he never dreamed of being a small fish in a big pond. But he always wanted to be a WWE superstar, which could still happen again. Matt stated that he has his phone working in the best condition and hilariously concluded by stating, “Never say never” as said by Justin Bieber.

Matt Cardona feels proud of his wife Chelsea Green
Matt Cardona was captured backstage on RAW with his wife Chelsea Green. Cardona made his presence felt to celebrate her first ever championship victory in WWE. Green won the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Sonya Deville after defeating Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
Cardona took to Twitter to share how proud he is for his wife. Matt shared a selfie of him with her title on his shoulder and wrote a message on Twitter. He wrote,“One half of one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions!”
Matt looked extremely happy for Chelsea Green, which was inconspicuous in the picture and also in the heartfelt message. He concluded the tweet by stating that they will have a great workout session to ensure this championship stays with her. Chelsea and Sonya’s championship win was also praised by Triple H on Twitter.
