Former WWE superstar Matt Riddle and his love life have been a center of curiosity as well as controversy. In a new turn of events, Riddle and his fiancee revealed the gender of their unborn child. In a recent post on Instagram by Misha Montana, the couple disclosed the exciting news.
They posted their picture, holding an adorable tiny t-shirt written “BRO” on it and revealing that they are expecting a baby boy. It was in July that Misha revealed on social media that she was pregnant. She held a placard during one of the WWE shows, which stated, “Bro I’m Pregnant.”
Matt Riddle’s first marriage was with Lisa Rennie. They were together for ten years before parting ways in 2022. They had three children together. Lisa was also in controversy when she commented on the physiques of women in WWE. Being a professional bodybuilder herself, she was highly critical of stars like Becky Lynch, which even led to a rift between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins.
Speaking of Matt Riddle, WWE released him back in late September this year. Being highly talented inside the ring, many saw him as a big asset for WWE. Hence, his release was a massive shock. The Original Bro has been surrounded by many controversies, the most recent being the JFK airport incident. Therefore, these might have played the catalyst for his release from the Stamford-based promotion.
Matt Riddle’s next step following his WWE release
The wrestling business is filled with superstars with a lot of talent, but talent alone doesn’t ensure success. These lines depict the cases of several wrestlers, among whom the latest is Matt Riddle. Despite having immense talent, the Original Bro burned all the bridges when it came to giving him second chances. WWE finally released him in late September 2023.
However, it looks like the Original Bro has already decided to explore other ventures outside the realm of WWE. On October 18, 2023, he submitted a filing for the trademark “King of Bros.” It must be noted that it has been made for entertainment purposes, especially in the wrestling context.
Riddle’s last appearance on live TV was on the September 4, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw. He teamed with Drew McIntyre and was in a storyline with him. Ever since Randy Orton disappeared from WWE television, the Original Bro has seemingly been part of lackluster feuds.
With WWE in his hindview, fans can expect a lot from Matt Riddle. Could this trademark filing be a sign of a fresh start, or would Riddle, just like Jeff Hardy, succumb to his demons? While such questions plague a lot of his fans, all they can do is support him in his journey and wait for his time to shine.
