“What a Fantastic Match” Twitter heaps praise on Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins as both put out a great show at Extreme Rules

Stakes were pretty high for the much awaited first ever fight pit match on the main roster between Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins. Their rivalry has been boiling for a few months now and the two finally got their hands on each other in a match which Riddle described as his arena.
The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle had been on the rise for months. Many fans were expecting that the rivalry would have ended at Clash At The Castle where Rollins had defeated Riddle in a close encounter.

But, the rivalry was still on and both men were still not tired of facing each other. Therefore, the two were put in a fight pit match at Extreme Rules with UFC Legend Daniel Cormier becoming the special referee for the match.
Both wrestlers made their entrance with Rollins giving a little tribute to RVD. Both stars started off with a power tussle as both looked to dominate each other in the starting minutes of the match. Matt Riddle looked more familiar with the environment as he had been in a match like this before.
In the later stages of the match Rollins started using the cage as he became more familiar with the surroundings. Both then exchanged their finishing maneuvers to lay out each other. The action then reached at the top of the cage as two started brawling high above the ring.
Rollins dominated at the top of the cage before Riddle would deliver a scintillating RKO and Rollins would come down from the cage. Riddle would then drop a senton bomb on Rollins from the top of the cage.
In the final moments of the match Riddle would finally plant a triangle choke on Rollins to finally win the match. The Twitter users were all praise for both the superstars as they gave it their all to make it one of the best matches of the night.
