Huge Tag Team Match Booked for RAW as Matt Riddle Looks to Form New Alliance

Matt Riddle has been participating as a singles competitor from the last 6 months after his former partner Randy Orton suffered a legitimate injury earlier this year, breaking their popular faction of RK-Bro. Since then Riddle has struggled to find a new partner but it now seems that his quest has finally ended.

Elias, who returned to Monday Night RAW on October 17th has been scheduled for a tag team match with Riddle on the coming Monday. The Original Bro had teased a tag team last week on RAW in a backstage interview.

Though Elias wasn’t heavily impressed with Matt Riddle, it now seems a new band which can be potentially named “The Musical Bros” are in the market now. According to Fightful, The team of Elias and Matt Riddle will take on The Alpha Academy at Monday Night RAW.

The Original Bro conveyed his excitement to Elias when he returned after months. Riddle even invited him to hit a “bong” with him, which Michael Cole instantly clarified meant a singular piece of the two bongos that Riddle accompanied with him to the ring.

WWE Altered Major Plans for Randy Orton and Matt Riddle After the former’s Severe Injury

Randy Orton has been out of action from the company due to a severe back injury suffered in May. As reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Randy Orton was slated to return by the end of 2022 but as the injury turned out to be severe than anticipated nothing much can be done about it.

Another report from GiveMeSport emerged that said that The original plans included The Viper turning on The Original Bro which could have later culminated in a feud but the injury changed the entire equation and Riddle was put in a feud with Seth Rollins for many months.

Though, the above-mentioned plans were created at the time of Vince McMahon. But now with Triple H running the show we’ll have to see how things turn out to be for Randy Orton and Matt Riddle.

For now it seems like the company has found the perfect companion for Riddle and it’s none other than Elias. Though, it would be a difficult task for the company to fit in Randy Orton whenever he returns from the injury. This is because if the partnership between Elias and Riddle works out then Randy Orton would have to be presented as a singles competitor
