WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has had an illustrious career and is a venerated name in the company. She returned earlier this year as a full-time superstar. Stratus has been a role model for many female superstars growing up. However, 5-time Women’s Champion Melina has a different perspective, which she expressed in an interview.

Melina was in an interview with MuscleManMalcolm where she was asked about her opinion on the return of Trish Stratus. The former WWE superstar feels that there are many superstars who actually deserve credit. She emphasized that there are people who enhanced Trish’s career and people who carried her to the top. However, credit is not given to them as such.

Melina went on to say that there are superstars like Jazz, who enhanced the career of Trish Stratus. She believes those superstars should be given the spotlight, and WWE should bring back those legends. Melina made an audacious statement when she said that WWE brings back the superstars they choose to bring back.

However, the former Divas Champion elucidated that she has no disrespect for Trish Stratus. She said that Stratus has everything that a superstar must have, and she surely deserved appreciation. But at the same time, Melina believes that WWE should also give credit to those superstars who catapulted Trish’s career.

Melina returned to the ring in the Royal Rumble 2022. She has had a decorated career in WWE and has carried the women’s division. On the other hand, Trish Stratus is currently an active part of the roster and is in a feud with Becky Lynch. The story is progressing every week. She will face Lynch in a match at SummerSlam.

Lita returned to WWE earlier this year, along with Trish Stratus. The Extreme Diva went on to become the Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside her partner, Becky Lynch. However, Lita was attacked by Trish Stratus in a backstage segment and she went on hiatus.

There have been rumors that Lita might return to SummerSlam to take her revenge from Trish Stratus. Becky Lynch is currently outnumbered by Stratus and Zoey Stark. Therefore, the prospect of Lita’s return looks good and it can benefit Lynch in her match at SummerSlam.

Trish Stratus will go one-on-one with Becky Lynch at The Biggest Party of Summer. The Man will finally look to avenge her for everything she has done. The two superstars have been at loggerheads for a long time. It will be interesting to see what happens at SummerSlam.
