Seth Rollins‘ popularity can be seen everywhere, including in the world of Boxing. During the ESPYS, Legendary Boxing announcer Michael Buffer is seen announcing the World Heavyweight Champion and then vibing to Rollins’ song, which is a fan favorite during WWE events.

In the video shared by WWE on their Twitter account, Buffer is seen humming the theme and moving his hands similar to Rollins’ entrance. The theme has become one of the most popular in WWE. Numerous videos from the live shows, Raw and SmackDown, have gone viral where the audience sang the theme song for minutes. The popularity can be seen clearly, as Buffer was also aware of it.

The 78-year-old shares a history with professional wrestling, as he worked for WCW for a period of time in the 1990s. Additionally, Buffer was also featured in the 2008 Royal Rumble promotional videos. He also announced the match later in 2008. The iconic catchphrase “Let’s get ready to Rumble!” is often used during the Royal Rumble season in WWE.

Apart from his work in professional wrestling, Buffer is primarily known for his Boxing announcing career. He has also made several appearances to announce sports events from the NHL, NFL, NBA, UFC, and many others.

Seth Rollins was not the only WWE Superstar who was present for the awards show on ESPN. His wife, former Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch, accompanied Rollins to the show. They were joined by another couple from WWE as Montez Ford and Bianca Belair also appeared on the show.

Additionally, The Garcia Twin, fka Nikki, and Brie Bella also joined the current WWE Superstars. Nikki and Brie recently departed from the company after over a decade of working there. The sisters were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2021.

Former NFL star and WWE Colour Commentator Pat McAfee was also at the event. He is on hiatus from WWE currently as he is working with ESPN on an expert panel for football. Several WWE Superstars have appeared for the ESPYS in the past. John Cena, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and others are some of them.
