If pro wrestling commentary is an art, then Michael Cole is the Picasso of it. A viral clip has been making the rounds on the internet showing Cole doing commentary at last Saturday’s Money in the Bank. In that video, he’s seen putting his heart out and shouting at the top of his lungs.
There were numerous jaw dropping moments during this year’s Money in the Bank premium live event. Some of them included gravity-defying spots in both Money in the Bank ladder matches. It includes Logan Paul and Ricochet putting their bodies on the line and the Genius of the Sky, Iyo Sky’s daredevil tactics.
The way Michael Cole reacted to them is exactly what makes this thing so special. A good commentary adds life to pro wrestling shows. It seems like Michael Cole has countless second winds left in his aging frame. It’s quite perplexing how a 54-year-old man can be so passionate with his voice.
Years went by,, and his co-workers got replaced. However Cole never lost his luster. Back in May, the WWE announcer was asked how long he planned to do this. Without giving an exact timeframe, the Voice of WWE acknowledged that at some point, he’d have to stop blowing up. However, that time ain’t coming anytime soon, iterated Cole.

He also praised Triple H and the creative team for putting out such a masterclass. There have been a few memorable stories over the years in this company, but not every one of them comes close to The Bloodline’s tale. Cole savagely mocked those Hollywood jabronies who believe WWE can’t tell a great story.
The WWE commentator gave them a reality check when he highlighted how they do 52 weeks of live television. On the contrary, most of the Hollywood shows run for 9-10 episodes and then go on hiatus. The Bloodline, featuring Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa, has been going on for the past three years without getting stale. It continues to record inaccessible metrics for the promotion.
