“I just become somebody who, in my mind, doesn’t belong out there.”- Mick Foley reveals a Wrestlemania match that he doesn’t wants to rewatch

Mick Foley can't rewatch one of his matches
Mick Foley is widely regarded as The Hardcore Legend as he went through some of the most toughest and brutal matches in the history of WWE. One of the greatest and iconic Hell in a Cell matches which took place in 1998 at the King of the Ring pay per view event included The Undertaker going up against Mick Foley’s character known as The Mankind. The infamous moment of Foley being thrown from the top of the cell flying all the way down to the announcers desk still remember today by most of the wrestling fans.
Foley once had a team with The Rock named as the Rock n Sock connection where they also became the WWF Tag Team Champions thrice. After working through 1999-2000, the duo got reconciled in 2004 where they faced The Evolution consisting of Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton in a 2 on 3 handicap match at Wrestlemania 20. The ending moments of the match saw, Randy Orton delivering an RKO to Foley and pick up the win for Evolution. After the match, the Hardcore legend looked disappointed as hell watching up the members of Evolution on the entrance ramp.
On his podcast named as “Foley is Pod” he recently recalled this match as the one he would never like to rewatch again. He revealed upon receiving high remarks by the Nature Boy himself about the match he got a nervous breakdown stating he left like a guy who doesn’t belongs here despite being a 3-time World Champion.
“I can’t watch the match,” Foley said. “Ric Flair, he feels like it was a really good match. He says [it is], and I’m like, ‘Ric, I can’t watch it. I can’t watch’. He said something, ‘You were great. You were great’ … “I lost all my confidence, and I go from being this guy who had been the three-time WWE Champion, and I just become somebody who, in my mind, doesn’t belong out there.”
Mick Foley later returned to WWE in 2016

On July 18, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley was given the role of The General Manager for the red brand moving forward. He and Stephanie McMahon herself took care of Raw over the next few months. He became one of the major attractions on Monday Nights for many fans who used to watch him wrestle back in the day as there was a huge nostalgia factor being involved in that.
On March 20 of next year, Stephanie fired Mick Foley after growing up on constant disagreements between the two in the prior weeks. Foley once again made his return to WWE to officiate the Hell in a Cell match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship in 2018.
