The upcoming match between Finn Balor and Edge will officially take place inside the Hell in a Cell, as confirmed this past Monday on Raw. Ahead of his big match at WrestleMania, Balor turned to the Hardcore legend, Mick Foley, for a word of advice. However, the WWE veteran had a hilarious reply for him.
Finn Balor took to Twitter to directly ask for “any advice” from the King of Hardcore ahead of his first Hell in a Cell match. In response, Mick Foley tweeted, “Hello Finn, This is Mick! Remember, you are asking a guy who has never actually won one of these. It’s probably best to study every single thing I did in my #HIAC matches… and then do the exact opposite. When in doubt, use the abs.”
Mick Foley is well known for his extreme stints in the late 1990s and early 2000s. One of his alter egos, Mankind, had an infamous Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998, which he lost. The WWE Hall of Famer went on to have four Hell in a Cell matches in his career. However, as he said, the former Hardcore Champion didn’t win a single one of them.
It was reported that the match between Balor and Edge was supposed to happen at the Royal Rumble. However, the story got extended, and the blow-off Hell in a Cell match is now going to take place at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The match will likely be the end of a year-long story between The Edge and Judgment Day that started at WrestleMania last year.

Finn Balor teased the return of “Demon” at WrestleMania
In the promo segment on Monday Night Raw, when Edge challenged Finn Balor for the match, the latter had some words that grabbed the attention of WWE Universe. In response, the Judgement Day member said, “I have been to hell before, and it spit me out. Because hell couldn’t handle my demons.” This was a reference to his alter ego, “Demon” Balor, who is rumoured to return at WrestleMania this year.
The “Demon” was a much stronger and darker side of the former Universal Champion. This gimmick was not used to its full potential on the main roster under Vince McMahon. The Demon King was last seen in 2021 after losing to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. Moreover, the dark side of Balor was never mentioned again after that match, until now. The Demon returning at Finn Balor’s first Hell in a Cell match would make sense if it does happen at WrestleMania.
