Mick Foley hates some moves
In a recent interview when Mick was asked about what he thinks of the movie German Suplex on which he shockingly reveals that he hates the move and did not want the move to be getting performed even for a single match. When he was asked about this anger he says.
He has been a person who has taken huge bumps and has even made legendary moments by those bumps like Undertaker throwing him of the Hell in a Cell and many more but you never see him standing in a line for surgery or in a line where people with injured neck stands.
He says that the move has been perfected by many wrestlers like Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle but some wrestlers do not even know how to perform the move properly and still do it which most of the time barely works out but can even damage the other person’s neck and that could be even career-threatening.
“I’ll probably take some criticism for this being the guy who did a lot of risky stuff, but you noticed there’s no scar on my neck. You would think I would have been one of the first guys that would be in line for that surgery. I did not let people throw me backward very often. There would be a time a guy like Rick Steiner would throw me, whether or not I wanted to go, but I generally had a plan B. I don’t like German suplexes. I think that over time, they shorten careers and they destroy the quality of life, so people can attack me for that. Over time, it’s gonna wear you out.”
Mick’s statement made a lot of criticism towards him but many people support him as his reason was correct and people do get injured with the move a lot. What do you think about the WWE Hall of Famer’s comment?
