The women’s tag team division has taken another major hit lately in the form of injuries. Sonya Deville, who is one half of the current tag team champions, was ruled out with an ACL injury for the foreseeable future. However, her partner, Chelsea Green, has started a movement online to keep both titles with her.

Several wrestlers on X (formerly known as Twitter) have supported the 32-year-old in the campaign. Chelsea Green has initiated a search to find a suitable tag team partner, calling it #ChelseasGotTalent. Surprisingly, Mick Foley was one of the names who volunteered to help Green.

The Hall of Famer termed it as one of the most exciting days in the WWE. Furthermore, he jokingly said, “There were a few times in my life where I wished to be a woman, but this is one of them.” Mick Foley revealed that, along with being a woman, if he were thirty years younger and two hundred and twenty pounds lighter, he would certainly partner with the current champion.

Finally, Foley ended the clip by assuring that Chelsea Green definitely has talent. She posted his submission with the caption, “#ChelseasGotTalent will absolutely consider a hardcore legend since she herself is hardcore.” Other personalities, such as her husband, Matt Cardona, and R-Truth, have auditioned for the role.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship curse continued to live on as Sonya Deville was legitimately hurt with an ACL injury just days after winning the titles. Her tag team partner, Chelsea Green, recently spoke on the matter and about the time she almost retired from professional wrestling.

Speaking on the After The Bell podcast, Chelsea recalled the early days of her career. She remembered suffering through several relapses due to injuries. A nose fracture followed by her collarbone breaking during a tour of Asia made her second-guess continuing her career. Furthermore, her wrists kept getting hurt as well.

Green revealed that she contemplated the bigger picture in terms of having kids and being able to hold them. However, the talented 32-year-old fought back and is now on the best run of her career so far. Chelsea’s “Karen” persona since her return this year has been popular among the WWE Universe.
