While in conversation with Denise Salcedo, Mickie James revealed that she will be in LA over WrestleMania weekend for the WrestleCon. Moreover, the former WWE superstar confirmed that she will be at SoFi Stadium as a spectator for the second night of WrestleMania as well. The Impact Knockouts champion is hopeful that her friends will have their match on Night two, as she is eagerly waiting to see it live.

Mickie James said, “I’ve already texted [Lita and Trish], ‘I really hope you guys are wrestling on night two.’ It is my first time ever watching WrestleMania as a spectator. I could never go when we were kids. We didn’t have the money. I’m just praying that my friends are wrestling night two, so I can watch it there live, in person.”

WWE released Mickie James in 2021, after WrestleMania 37. The former women’s champion has shared the ring with both Lita and Trish Stratus in the attitude era. However, the three women last competed quite recently in 2018 at WWE Evolution, where Trish and Lita teamed up against Alicia Fox and Mickie James.

AAfter leaving WWE, Mickie James had a brief run in the NWA before returning to Impact Wrestling. The 43-year-old veteran recently won her sixth Impact Knockouts Championship at Hard to Kill earlier this year. James is very much aware of the women’s divisions of other companies as well and even commented on Saraya’s return to AEW.

Micke James said, “How amazing, how exciting of a time is it in 2023 when we are looking at Lita as a Tag Team Champion with Becky? You see that happening there. You see, in IMPACT, I’m the champion in 2023, and our tag team division is shining so bright, and the women in that locker room. Then you see over at AEW, Saraya comes back from a career-ending injury. Someone who they said, ‘Oh, she’s never going to wrestle again.’ For a long time, it used to be like, ‘Oh, well, they’re retired,’ or ‘they’re this,’ and it would all be about this whole new — and it was never that way about the men as much as it was for the women.”

The Impact star called it a “magical time” in not just women’s wrestling but pro wrestling in general. The WWE Universe will be looking forward to her reunion with her friends at WrestleMania. While it might not happen on-screen, it will be a heartwarming moment backstage at SoFi Stadium.
