Mickie James calls out Former SmackDown Women’s Champion to fight against her in a singles bout

Mickie James is one of the top female performers of all time and was the WWE’s golden girl. Mickie James is an excellent in ring performer and was always a top carder. Mickie James won the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time in 2006 at the grandest stage of them all, the WrestleMania. She defeated Trish Stratus at the event and the match was a phenomenal one, with many calling it one of the best women’s bout in the WWE. The match marked the arrival of Mickie James into the WWE and the rest is history.
Mickie James won the Women’s Championship a total of five times and even managed to show her dominance during the Divas Era and won the Divas Championship one time in her career. Mickie James left WWE in 2010 and thereafter wrestled around the independent circuit until 2016 and at the TNA for a short while in 2011 and 2015. Mickie James returned to WWE in 2016 and had formed an alliance with Alexa Bliss during the initial years of her second tenure.
James was unsuccessful in winning a championship during her second tenure in the WWE. She was released from the company in 2021, and her release was met with some controversy as her belongings were sent to her in a trash bag. James tweeted about it and later it was found out that she wasn’t alone in this, many wrestlers were sent their belongings in a trash bag. James was later apologized by Vince McMahon.
Mickie has always fought against the best in the business and has also fought with the best talents of current generation. Recently James took to twitter to praise Naomi and Sasha Banks’ performance at the New York fashion week. Sasha Banks too replied by sharing a Gif of both of them and said that she wants to fight James. Mickie, then replied to Sasha Banks and said her to fight against her. This didn’t seem to be any serious warning and it was just for fun.
The Former WWE Champion has fought Banks on several occasions during her second tenure and surely wants more of it. James, currently wrestles for the Impact wrestling promotion, where she recently announced that she would retire after she loses her next match.
Mickie James had praised Sasha Banks and Naomi for the walkout
During a recent appearance on the Busted Open Radio, Mickie James had supported Banks and Naomi for their walkout from the WWE in May due to creative differences. She said that Banks and Naomi might have felt disrespected, unheard or any other thing they might have felt so she applauds their decision to walkout. According to James, it may be claimed that they did report to work that day, observed what needed to be done, and may have made a commitment to at least half of the day. She said that she was unaware of what actually occurred and added that WWE’s statements are what the public is hearing.
