CM Punk has been one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling. He has always been a topic of discussion among audiences. Punk’s status with AEW has been obscure ever since the company released him. Former WWE referee Mike Chioda feels that CM Punk is a big draw, and AEW needs to bring him right away.
Mike Chioda is one of the most legendary referees of all time. While speaking on Monday Mailbag With Mike Chioda, the AEW referee spoke about CM Punk. Chioda had heaps of praise for Punk and wants him to return to the promotion. He believes that the 44-year-old has the ability to draw audiences and is thus an asset for AEW.
Mike Chioda said that CM Punk always remains at his best, whether in his matches or his promos. The former WWE referee implicitly mentioned Punk and AEW’s issues and said that such clashes should be forgotten for the sake of businesses. “Punk should be elevated and catered to because he’s a huge draw, and everything else can be worked out later,” he said.
AEW’s one of the biggest pay-per-views All In is just a few days away. It will take place at Wembley Stadium, London. Therefore, Mike Chioda feels that Tony Khan should consider bringing CM Punk back ahead of the spectacular event. The legendary referee concluded his statement by wishing for Punk’s return as soon as possible.
