The Miz and Logan Paul
Logan Paul is on the cloud nine since defeating The Miz at SummerSlam on this Saturday. Logan Paul made his WWE debut in April 2021 on an edition of WWE SmackDown. He appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of Sami Zayn’s documentary, and was requested by Sami to accompany him at WrestleMania 37 and be at the ringside during his bout against Kevin Owens. At the event Kevin defeated Sami and Paul began celebrating with Kevin after the match, only to get hit by stunner later.
Logan then made some sporadic appearances in WWE and in February 2021, the Miz revealed Logan as his tag team partner to face the Mysterios at the WrestleMania 38. The Miz and Paul defeated the Mysterios successfully at the event but the Miz turned on him after the match and attacked him with his finishing maneuver. After WrestleMania, Logan Paul then appeared on an edition of RAW in July and attacked the Miz, the two were then slated to face each other at SummerSlam. At SummerSlam Logan performed a skull crushing finale on The Miz and won the match via pinfall.
Logan Paul has said that pro wrestling is a difficult discipline
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Logan Paul said that the WWE thing is challenging and that though he was not a part of the WWE universe, he was aware of what others are saying and thinking about it. He claimed that after having been a member of WWE, he is now speechless.
Logan continued by describing how pro wrestling requires a strict discipline that the body does not become accustomed to until one practices it for a long period of time. Logan Paul claimed that he is in awe of what the WWE Superstars can do when he observes some of his peers now. It is a challenging sport that mixes so many unique components that no other sport has, according to Logan Paul.
At SummerSlam, Logan Paul dazzled the WWE Universe with his prowess in the ring and impressive skills in his match against The Miz. The Miz commended Paul for his in- ring skills in a recent interview with Mackmania, The Miz claimed that in his 23 years of professional wrestling, he has never seen someone move so fast as Logan Paul. Paul has unquestionably been one of the finest natural talents he has ever seen, according to the Miz, and also noted that Paul is a quick learner.
“I’ve been doing this for like 23 years now. [He is] the fastest out of anyone. I’m talking celebrity or WWE Superstar. I don’t pick things up very fast at all. If you remember me right in the beginning, I was terrible, like horrible.” Miz added: “But Logan is one of those people who picks something up right off the bat. He just picked it up quickly. So, yeah, he is definitely one of the best natural talents I’ve ever seen.”
Logan Paul had signed a Multiyear deal with WWE on 30th June. It will be exciting to see what this young talent brings to the table next.
