MJF is a 26-year-old wrestler who made his AEW debut in 2019. MJF, although one of the youngest, is an important figure in AEW since he is now providing a tremendous character to the product and is regarded as one of the finest heels in the modern wrestling world.
After Dynamite went off the air, MJF addressed the fans in attendance as Tony Khan was a witness. He noted Tony was the only one to blame for his ascent to the top of the whole wrestling world. He truly believes that without AEW, the entire wrestling industry would be a monopoly.
MJF surprised everyone by incorporating WWE into his promo, saying that while he loves WWE, it will still be a terrible place for wrestlers since WWE will not pay them well. According to Maxwell, AEW has made WWE more competitive, which has led to them paying its superstars more.
Stephanie Chase uploaded this promo on Twitter. MJF’s exact words were, “Without a doubt, professional wrestling without AEW is a monopoly, and do not get me wrong, I love WWE, trust me… I love WWE. However, your favorite wrestlers don’t get paid properly and don’t eat properly if Tony Khan does not make that alternative.”
MJF’s contract with AEW is going to get over in 2024
MJF has developed a lot in AEW, and he will continue to advance because of his talent and ability to win over a sizable following. Maxwell has a contract with AEW that ends at the beginning of 2024, so it seems likely that he will consider leaving the organization at the beginning of 2024.
Maxwell has already mentioned that he is looking for every opportunity he can get. Besides WWE being willing to make him a significant offer, there are some offers from Hollywood too. Whatever he prefers from a triangular battle of offers between AEW, WWE, and Hollywood will become his future.

Now that Triple H is in charge, WWE will attempt to recruit MJF to boost their viewership even more. However, no one can be sure of this because MJF is a top star in AEW, and his departure would be extremely risky for the status of the organization hence, AEW will try their best to keep him.
