MJF disrespects Renee Paquette (via AEW)
MJF has once again sunk to the lowest possible levels on live television, as he insulted Renee Paquette during the latest episode of Dynamite. He will be defending his AEW World Championship against Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jack Perry at Double or Nothing 2023.
Renee Paquette is the wife of former AEW Champion Jon Moxley. The couple are living happily in Cincinnati, Ohio with their daughter. Paquette, who worked for WWE, joined her husband at AEW in late 2022. Tony Khan announced it on the AEW social media accounts.
During the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF was unhappy to realize that all three of his opponents would fight for the championship at Double or Nothing. Renee Paquette came in to ask some questions, which made MJF furious and agitated. As a result, Friedman angrily threw away the microphone from Paquette’s hand and walked away without saying a word.
This was nothing new for AEW fans, as MJF is known to be a boor to his fellow wrestlers and other personalities. He has previously insulted almost all his opponents, using their past failures, families, or other topics to anger them. The 27-year-old wrestled CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, and many others during his time at AEW.
Maxwell Jacob Freidman achieved success in his career at 27. Fans wonder about the potential that Freidman has. MJF won the AEW World Title from Jon Moxley at Full Gear 2022. Since then, he has only defended the title against Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson. This week on AEW Dynamite, he once again attracted attention from fans. Watch the video here.

Till now, MJF has only defended the title twice in AEW, against Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson at “Winter is Coming” and “Revolution” respectively. Arguably, the biggest challenge in Friedman’s title reign awaits him at Double or Nothing. He will take on the other three pillars of AEW in a four pillars 4-way match on May 28th, 2023.
The 27-year-old tried his best to avoid this match. He tried paying off Sammy Guevara to intentionally lose the match. Moreover, he intercepted the matches of Darby Allin and Jack Perry when they wrestled to qualify for the match. Even after trying everything, Maxwell could not stop his three opponents from qualifying for the title shot.
In the main event of Double or Nothing in Las Vegas, MJF will defend his title against Sammy Guevara, Jack Perry, and Darby Allin. This is being dubbed the four pillars match, as all four wrestlers have been a part of AEW since its initial days. They are known to be the foundation of the company.
