MJF savagely burns Adam Cole during a heated promo segment on AEW Dynamite, references Vince McMahon’s thoughts on the former NXT Champion

Believe it or not, there’s not many guys in today’s wrestling who can touch MJF on that microphone. Whenever he gets one, the AEW World Champion teaches how it’s actually done. Last night on Dynamite, Adam Cole and MJF engaged in a brutal war of words. Starting with the champ himself, he said that Cole used to be the Panama Playboy, but now he’s the Panama Game Boy.
Dragging Cole’s girlfriend Britt Baker in the mix, The Devil argued how she leaves the house with her boyfriend’s balls in her purse. Then, he made the 1st WWE reference for the night. MJF pasted the exact same line Adam Cole used to dissect Karrion Kross during a segment on NXT. After that, the AEW Champion shifted gears and dished out some top-level disrespect.
MJF claimed that he read online how Vince McMahon never saw main-event potential in Cole. After trash talking for a bit, he reached to the conclusion that McMahon was right. After having enough, the former Undisputed Era leader decided to humble MJF in his own way. Regarding his partner Britt Baker’s earlier mention, Cole told MJF that he gets why The Devil is so obsessed with people’s relationships.
That’s because his fiancee left him and he can’t hold a relationship. Calling the Salt of the Earth a world class douchebag, The Panama Playboy said no even respects MJF at all. The champ however, dropped another bombshell calling Cole’s speech a whole lot of talk from Keith Lee’s manager, referring to Vince McMahon’s rumored plans for him on the main-roster.
MJF and Adam Cole are set to collide next week
After yesterday’s exchange on Dynamite, AEW has booked Cole against MJF in a World Championship Eliminator for next week. To be honest, for the first time since his arrival in AEW, Adam Cole looked like a million-bucks this week. For months, fans were complaining about him being misused. For many, he was lost in the shuffle.
However, it’s high time Tony Khan realized the error he was making with NXT’s greatest World Champion. This feud with MJF would surely resurrect Cole as a hot prospect for the company. During his WWE days, Triple H and Shawn Michaels used to treat Adam Cole as the biggest star possible. He headlined countless shows, including numerous TakeOver events. His fans would be hoping for him to attain that status once again, this time around in AEW.
