WATCH: Montreal goes bonkers as the hometown hero Sami Zayn brings back his classic theme song “Worlds Apart”

Following his NXT success, Sami Zayn has been on the main roster for almost eight years now. However, he is currently more over than he has ever been in his entire main roster tenure. Sami’s story with The Bloodline has been the most intriguing chronicle in the WWE since last year. From being honoured as an Honorary Uce in The Bloodline to finally betraying his Tribal Chief at the Royal Rumble, Zayn has come a long way. This Saturday in his hometown, Sami will challenge Roman Reigns for the undisputed championship at the Elimination Chamber.

Ahead of the Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn closed this week’s SmackDown with a huge ovation. A day before Chamber, SmackDown took place in Montreal, Canada. The entire show featured promos for the upcoming undisputed WWE Universal title match at the Elimination Chamber.

The promos were a great way to hype up the fans for the championship match this Saturday. However, the crowd in Montreal was eagerly waiting to see their hometown hero, Sami. The wait came to an end just before the end of SmackDown. Sami walked out to the arena with his classic “Worlds Apart” theme song, and the crowd went absolutely insane.

Zayn always gets a massive reaction from the crowd whenever he is in Montreal. However, things are completely different this time, as it’s not just a hometown pop but also a proud feeling for their native hero. You can watch the clip of Sami’s entrance here.

Sami Zayn gives an ultimatum to Roman Reigns in his native language

Following an incredible ovation from the hometown crowd, Sami Zayn had something to say a day before his match against Roman Reigns. Sami was getting interrupted by the fans continuously chanting his name and “you deserve it.” After getting a chance to talk, Zayn greeted the fans in his native language.

Sami also mentioned Roman Reigns and vowed to defeat him this Saturday. Zayn addressed how everyone is told that WrestleMania is the most important show of the whole year. However, Sami stated that the Elimination Chamber this year is a once-in-a-lifetime night for him and Montreal as well.

Sami continued by sending a message to Roman in his native language i.e. French. Speaking in French, Sami said, “Roman Reigns, écoute-moi bien. Demain soir, t’es chez moi, tabarnac! “ The statement he made is loosely translated in English as, “Roman Reigns, listen to me carefully: tomorrow night, you’re in my f*****g house!”

Zayn concluded by telling Roman that this Saturday it’s not just Reigns vs. Sami, it’s actually Roman vs. Sami and the entire city of Montreal. In the end, Sami did an epic mic drop when he gave Reigns the ultimatum that he was going down.
