Mustafa Ali feels disrespected in WWE for more than six years

Mustafa Ali is one of the best athletes WWE has right now. He’s been a work horse ever since his debut in the company. The former SmackDown superstar recently opened up about his feelings about his tenure in WWE. Ali was transferred to NXT a couple of months ago. After not being able to get a rematch with Dirty Dom. Ali showed his frustration by talking about how disrespected he is in the company right now.
Mustafa Ali competed in a triple-threat match at NXT’s Great American Bash. Despite not being pinned in the match, Ali still lost the match. After that, he felt the need for a rematch against Dom. Unfortunately, Axiom beat him to the opportunity and also sought the champion’s attention. Later, a frustrated Ali interrupted Dom and Axiom. In this heat, Axiom was talking about being disrespected. Ali replied, saying “try being disrespected for six years”.
The conversation suggested the possibility of an Axiom versus Ali match, while Dominik is set to face Dragon Lee as his challenger next week. Dragon Lee will receive support from Dominik’s father, Rey Mysterio, during the match. It is going to be interesting to see the frustrated side of Mustafa Ali next week on NXT.

Mustafa Ali feels he was the right person to end Gunther’s undefeated streak
Mustafa Ali had a triple-threat matchup against Wes Lee and Dirty Dom at the NXT Great American Bash. Before heading to the match, Ali was doing an Instagram live where he talked about his match with Gunther at Night of Champions. Ali feels that if there was ever a time for Gunther to lose, it was at Night of Champions.
Furthermore, Ali said it has been a long time since WWE told any Ultimate Underdog story on television. He said, “I think it’s been a long time since WWE’s done that ultimate underdog story.” Moreover, he added that he had home crowd advantage, which should have been capitalized.
However, the match is set and done in the history books. Ali is heading towards the NXT North American Championship. On the other hand, Gunther is all set to face Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at the SummerSlam.
