Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya is one of the most experienced female stars on the current roster of WWE. The wrestling veteran has been with the company for more than a decade and still proves to be relevant in storylines. Considering this, Nattie has expressed her desire to keep on wrestling, not intending to retire anytime soon.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Natalya claims to be in the best shape of her life, which is why she is at ease in the ring. However, when it comes to her 16-year stint in WWE, people asked her about wrapping up and when exactly she will retire. The Queen of Harts stated that she plans to continue wrestling for the foreseeable future.
“I just feel so good,” she said. “That’s the cr*zy thing, is that people always say, ‘Oh, when are you gonna wrap it up? When is it gonna be done?’ It’s like, listen, this is ‘Hotel California.’ You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave. Once you do this, I’m a wrestler through and through. It’ll never ever, ever, ever, ever leave me, ever,” she said. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
The Guinness World Record holder revealed that she has looked up to Rey Mysterio as her inspiration for lasting a long time. “I’m not close to being done when I look at what Rey is doing!” cited Nattie when she watched him perform at a live event against Roman Reigns. The Queen of Harts ended by claiming Mysterio to be one of the greatest of all time.

Natalya lauds Gunther and Chad Gable for going through all thick and thin
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Natalya mentioned the people who have fought, scratched and clawed in WWE. She cited Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio while adding Chad Gable and Gunther’s names to the list. She made commendable remarks about The Ring General’s incredible body transformation.
Nattie said that she sees herself a lot in Gable in the sense of being passionate about the sport. The main reason Natalya thinks Chad is getting over in the storyline is due to his underdog persona yet believable nature. Nattie mentioned him as being so relentless that she roots for his victory against Gunther.
