BREAKING: New Face of Raw to dethrone Roman Reigns?

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has been the Head of the Table and the top star in WWE for a long time. Roman proved his dominance when he main evented Wrestlemania for the 6th time in his career. And if that wasn’t enough, he defeated Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE and Universal Championships. WWE has pushed The Tribal Chief to greater heights, positioning him as the company’s top heel. During his championship defence, Roman Reigns conquered several opponents with his historic title reign. He has remained undefeated until now.

However, it looks like WWE has finally found the perfect one to dethrone Roman Reigns and it is none other than the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. Cody made his WWE return at Wrestlemania 38 as a surprise opponent against the Visionary Seth Rollins and ended up winning the bout.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were recently announced as the faces of their respective brands by WWE. Official WWE television commercials featuring ‘The American Nightmare’ and ‘The Head of The Table’ are now airing. With his Raw promos, Cody just had one message for the WWE Universe: he wanted to be the WWE Champion in the future. Since Cody Rhodes‘ departure from WWE in 2016, he has transformed into a completely new persona who has won a lot of hearts in AEW and continues to do so in WWE.

According to sources, WWE apparently does not have any plans in place for the Undisputed Universal Champion. However, as per the new advertisements, WWE is attempting to elevate the former AEW star to a new level. Despite the fact that Rhodes has been back for a while, WWE is treating him as the main event hero and overlooking other superstars on the roster in search of a suitable opponent for Roman Reigns.
