Hours later, Vince McMahon resigned from his role as TKO Executive Chairman and the Board of Directors. Obviously, many felt this was inevitable due to WWE’s long-time sponsor, SlimJim, pausing its partnership with the company. The allegations couldn’t have come at a worse time for WWE, as it begins the Road to WrestleMania on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Nia Jax is a favorite to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. The Irresistible Force’s second WWE run has exceeded lots of fan expectations, with her recent match against Becky Lynch garnering praise online. It will be interesting to see how she performs in the bout and whether she punches a ticket to WrestleMania.
Will Triple H and WWE address the lawsuit on Vince McMahon at Royal Rumble?
The 2024 Royal Rumble is perhaps the most anticipated event in a long time. WWE has done an excellent job building and hyping the show. However, the sexual harassment and trafficking lawsuit leveled at Vince McMahon and the company has overshadowed the on-screen happenings. As such, fans are curious whether the Stamford-based promotion will address the claims during the post-event press conference.

At first, many assumed that there would not be one due to the magnitude of the situation. Later, WWE confirmed through its YouTube channel that it would take place. Therefore, fans expect CCO, Triple H, to speak on the matter. Moreover, Hunter received criticism online for supposedly helping cover for McMahon.
The lawsuit alleged that the “Special Committee” set up to investigate the matter internally was a “sham.” Despite the victim’s willingness to cooperate, no one from the company reached out to her. Needless to say, the WWE Universe is hoping that the matter is solved and that justice is served correctly.
