Nick Khan took over as the sole CEO of WWE after Stephanie McMahon stepped down as the co-CEO in January this year. However, he has been a vital part of the business-related aspects of the company since 2020. Khan lately has been vocal about issues such as the sale of WWE and more. Recently, Nick Khan addressed the hot topic of whether Triple H has creative control or Vince McMahon is still in charge.

During a recent interview with LightShed Live, WWE CEO reflected on multiple aspects such as the company’s deal with Endeavour and more. He also answered the most anticipated question, i.e. who has the creative control currently? Khan disclosed that with Vince being the executive chairman, Dana White would continue as the UFC president and Triple H remains the sole Chief Creative Officer(CCO).

“Paul and Vince, have a family relationship, a relationship that stands back to the mid-90s. Paul’s in charge of creative. If he wants input from Vince or Vince has ideas then he and Paul are gonna communicate, that’s always going to be the case,” Nick Khan further stated.

Nick Khan concluded by saying that WWE is lucky to have Vince McMahon. He also acknowledged the fact that the company is lucky to have Paul “Triple H” Levesque in charge of creatives. Considering the statement, Hunter is still in charge of the creatives. However, Vince provides his insights whenever necessary.

Ever since the return of Vince McMahon as the Executive Chairman of WWE, fans have been worried about Triple H’s position as the head of creatives. Hunter’s job also seemed to be in jeopardy when the reports of Vince’s interference in the creative process started circulating.

WWE CEO Nick Khan also mentioned Triple H’s job while discussing post-merger layoffs from the company. He assured that the company will always be protective of its creative and production team. Khan also acknowledged the fact that the WWE-Endeavour deal wouldn’t have been closed with such a huge amount if the product was not top-notch.

Nick Khan stated that they would leave it to Hunter and the Executive producer, Pete Dunne if they want to make changes to the product in any capacity. In the end, the WWE CEO ensured that they are not looking for cutbacks within the creative or production department.
