Omos and Lashley face to face

Omos recently appeared for an exclusive interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character. Here, he addressed how his WWE audition came together, having the freedom to be himself, and more details about his career.

He talked about how his trainers assisted him to shape his career by not hampering his authenticity. He went on saying:

“At this point in time, I don’t a license because I don’t have my paperwork yet. So my fiancée had to drive me at 6 AM in the morning from Tampa to Orlando to the Performance Center for my tryout. It was just me. They just brought me in one day for a tryout. They put me in a class – I remember Ridge Holland was in that class with me.”

“We came in, I was rolling in. I remember my coaches for that tryout were Johnny Moss and Robbie Brookside. And I remember doing that tryout and not knowing what to expect. And then I always say, I think if I had any other coaches other than Robbie Brookside and Johnny Moss, I don’t think I ever would have taken this shot.”

Omos just has the goal in his mind that he has to improve his skills by any means. By combining his physical strength with in ring skills, he would be able to continue his supremacy:

“I’m still trying to get it, man. I’m a sponge. I’m a believer of the moment you stop learning, you stop progressing. So I’m always learning. This business is so nuanced that I think even the people you think are at the top are always learning. Because you always have to keep on learning. If not, you can’t call yourself the best.”

What happened after Omos and Lashley’s Arm Wrestling contest?

MVP with 2 stars

Bobby Lashley defeated Omos fairly and squarely at WrestleMania 38. As expected, Omos didn’t seem pleased with the outcome of the match. Omos had proposed a rematch with Bobby Lashley a few weeks prior, but something unexpected happened. In this week’s RAW episode, Omos and Bobby Lashley took part in an arm-wrestling contest. However, Omos failed to showcase his supremacy in this contest and lost the match. Not even wasting a single moment after the result, Omos attacked and assaulted Lashley like he always does.

With Lashley lying down near the feet of Omos, MVP took it to Twitter to say that this is the place where Lashley deserves to be. He doesn’t look like a champion at all with this image. MVP has full confidence on Omos that he will come out victorious out of that match. Now it’s time to prove his own worth to the audience as it is less than few weeks to the WrestleMania Backlash match between these 2 superstars.
