Original plans for Damage CTRL storyline involved injured former Women’s Champion helping out Bayley: Reports

This weekend at WrestleMania, Bayley is bringing a war against Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship. The fans have been really invested in the current storyline, as it is deeply personal and intriguing. However, a new report has suggested that originally there was a different route WWE had planned to take for this feud amongst the Damage CTRL.

According to Fightful, the original plan was the involvement of Charlotte Flair in the rivalry. The report suggested that the Queen was supposed to come to the aid of the Role Model against the Damage CTRL after they turned their backs on her. It was supposed to be a call back to the Four Horsewomen, which would have been interesting.

At one point, fans also expected that former Women’s Champion Sasha Banks would return to WWE to help her friend. However, all the possibilities went into a black hole after the former WWE superstar chose to pursue her career in All Elite Wrestling. In the end, the Royal Rumble winner decided to handle the business on her own as she faced the threat all by herself.

The involvement of the Queen was all penciled out after she suffered an injury on SmackDown. Therefore, at WrestleMania, Bayley will go one-on-one with her former friend for the Women’s Championship. It is going to be interesting to see the outcome of the match this weekend. As for Damage CTRL, they are set to face Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi at WrestleMania.

Bayley reveals that Paramore are not performing her entrance at WrestleMania

There are a few hours left for the biggest PLE of WWE ever. With Bayley having one of the headlining matches for the show, she wanted her favorite band, Paramore, to perform her entrance. However, even after trying her best, it seems the band would not be able to perform at the Grandest Stage of Them All due to scheduling issues.

This news was revealed by the Role Model on her social media. She admitted that she tried her best to bring the band to WrestleMania. However, it was not possible this year. Although she has taken a right to use the popular song ‘Simmer’ by the singer Hayley Williams in her hype video.

The music has taken the hype of the Bayley and Iyo Sky match to another level. It is turning out to be engrossing to see how things are going to be between the superstars at WrestleMania. It is certain that Bayley is going to have a must-see entrance. However, there is no Paramore this year for the Royal Rumble winner.
