Scott Oliver Hall popularly known around the wrestling world as Razor Ramon is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion. Scott Hall is one of the few wrestlers who had style ,class and swag written all over him. Scott Hall is one of the charismatic persona’s to ever step foot inside the squared circle. Hall made his way into professional wrestling in 1984 when he started training under the ‘American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes. Hall who made his debut with National Wrestling Alliance along with his tag team partner Dan Spivey but to a very little success.

Scott Hall then signed with AWA and that kick started Hall’s professional wrestling career, during his time with AWA he won the  AWA World Tag Team Championship with partner Curt Hennig. Razor Ramon would also wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling and officially signed for World Champion Wrestling in 1989. In July of the same year he made his television debut in a losing cause to great muta. After spending a year in WCW Hall again returned to NJPW where he would spend the next year before making his return to WCW.

In 1991 Hall returned to WCW under a new gimmick and was now managed by Diamond Dallas Page which helped Hall develop his character. It was  during this time DDP and Scott hall came up with the iconic toothpick spot which later became a trademark in his career. After spending a year in WCW hall was signed by WWE and made his debut as the iconic Razor Ramon in the company.

‘The Bad Guy’ Scott Hall made his debut for WWE in 1992 in a winning effort against a local talent. Over the next year Hall feuded with the likes of Randy Savage , Mr. Perfect and other wrestlers. In 1993 Hall participated in a battle royal and was one of the last two wrestlers in the ring. Following week Hall and Rick Martel faced off against each other to determine the Intercontinental Champion  , a ‘Razor’s Edge was enough for Hall to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.

Scott Hall after his first title went on to win the title multiple times having feuds with the likes of Shawn Michaels and was part of the legendary ladder match with the Heart break kid. Hall also went on to establish the legendary nWo and is part of history as the trademark sign is still in use and is adapted by the Bullet Club.

Former WWE manager Oscar recently opened up about the time he spent with Scott Hall and Kevi Nash and reminisced the old times while speaking on UnSKripted :

“Yeah, I was with Scott Hall almost the whole time. He was a real cool individual. Even before his death, I would see him at conventions, we would sit down and reminisce. I mean, him and Kevin Nash are couple of the coolest guys, that you ever want to know,” said Oscar.

Scott Hall recently passed away in March 2022. Scott Hall will always be remembered for being the original cool guy and also be remembered as one of the greatest WWE Intercontinental Champions of all time.
