Pat McAfee is one of the most enthusiastic commentators in the WWE. He started with the company as a pre-show analyst before becoming a part-time wrestler. Now, once again, Pat has become a full-time color commentator. The wrestling world highly appreciates his commentary work. As a result, WWE booked him for back-to-back Royal Rumble PLEs to commentate despite not being on contract.
Recently, Pat appeared on the All The Smoke podcast to share his thoughts about the WWE and his ongoing spat with ESPN. The 36-year-old kickoff specialist shared how healthy the environment is in the WWE. Most notably, he declined any possibility of wrestling at WrestleMania XL. The sports analyst mocked the drug tests WWE conducts, claiming he won’t pass them.

This year I’m like, I’m gonna get on the rich guy stuff that cheats and keeps me thin. I don’t think I could pass any drug tests for a WrestleMania, because they drug test people so that’s real deal… and I’m on everything I think they’re testing for.Pat McAfee on All The Smoke podcast
He added how he plans on staying on the rich guy stuff, referring to getting unnatural materials to stay thin. The former football punter disclosed that there is no possibility of him making it to WrestleMania since WWE conducts strict drug tests. He also shared his thoughts about his ongoing dispute with ESPN Executive Senior Vice President of Studio and Event Production, Norby Williamson.
McAfee faced The Miz at WrestleMania 39. The match happened after Pat’s surprise return on Night 1 of WrestleMania. At WrestleMania 38, he faced and defeated Austin Theory. The match happened after Theory got on the nerves of Pat. After their match, Vince McMahon wrestled him in an impromptu match. This marked McMahon’s first match in 10 years, his first win at the big PLE, and perhaps his last in WWE.

Pat McAfee took to X to share his thoughts about Roman and Rock joining sides. He claimed their tag team is “electrifying.”. It comes as no surprise since McAfee would go crazy upon seeing The Tribal Chief while he was the color commentator on the Blue brand. Moreover, The People’s Champion called Pat “his boy” on SmackDown this week.
It will be interesting to see what the duo of Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins have to say in response to The Brahma Bull’s challenge. Moreover, the added stipulations make the match very exciting if it actually takes place. The proposed bout has major implications for the Night 2 main event match between Reigns and Rhodes.
