It was indeed a glorious night for The Bloodline at Crown Jewel 2023. While Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain his title and close the show, Solo Sikoa beat John Cena to establish his dominance. As a result, Paul Heyman broke his silence on both matches and addressed the domination of The Bloodline.
After the Crown Jewel event concluded, Heyman gave an interview backstage. He was not happy with the interviewer because, according to Paul, she didn’t acknowledge the dominating performances of Reigns and Sikoa and instead asked him about the impressive showing LA Knight had.
Heyman didn’t take this lightly and scolded the interviewer by saying she always pisses off the wrong people. The Wise Man showed his antics and boasted about the performances of The Bloodline members. He compared Solo Sikoa’s decimation to that of Brock Lesnar.
That's your acknowledgment? how about Solo? Solo decimated John Cena in a matter that not even Brock Lesnar decimated Cena that way. You will almost likely never see John Cena again, and that's your acknowledgment of it? and Roman Reigns, the greatest of all time, as the universal heavyweight champion and you want me to talk about what an impressive showing by LA Knight?Paul Heyman on The Bloodline’s victory
It will be interesting to see whether anyone steps up to Roman Reigns for the title or if he continues to dominate. According to rumors, The Tribal Chief is directly scheduled for the Royal Rumble next year after Crown Jewel. On the other hand, it was Solo Sikoa’s first singles match on PLE, and by defeating John Cena, he has certified himself as a force to be reckoned with.
Did Solo Sikoa retire John Cena at Crown Jewel 2023?
Solo Sikoa defeated John Cena with multiple Samoan spikes to get his first singles victory on a premium live event. This has left many fans worried about the future of the 16-time world champion. The last time Cena won a singles match was in 2018. He has been on a losing streak in a singles televised match since then.
Just after the match ended, the 46-year-old posted a cryptic message on Instagram. He posted a picture of popular footballer David Beckham, which was from his retirement match. Many fans started speculating that Cena might be retiring and that Crown Jewel was his last appearance.
However, this might not be the case, as John Cena has a habit of teasing his retirement. Moreover, his Instagram posts are ambiguous and do not have any meaning. It might be just a pun to create a buzz among the fans. It will be interesting to see what Cena’s next move will be, whether it will be a retirement speech or just a seed for his next match.
