LA Knight suffered a loss against Austin Theory on SmackDown for an opportunity at the United States Championship. During an interview, Paul Heyman mocked LA Knight by using his catchphrase. The Wise Man hilariously took a shot at the Megastar out of nowhere in a backstage segment.
LA Knight had a big opportunity on SmackDown against Austin Theory, but he failed to grab a win. On the other hand, Paul Heyman was interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton about the ongoing turmoil around The Bloodline. The Wise Man avoided giving any updates on it. However, during the segment, Heyman insulted Knight, saying he was a flash in the pan.
Paul Heyman also used LA Knight’s iconic catchphrase “Yeah!” to mock the Megastar. Heyman also didn’t spare Kayla Braxton as he trolled her during the backstage interview. Fans will eagerly be waiting for Knight’s response to the insult he received. However, the Wise Man also revealed that Jimmy Uso will return next week on SmackDown.
Roman Reigns can kick off a new feud with LA Knight amid his ongoing turmoil with The Bloodline. The WWE Universe will be on the edge of their seats to witness it, as they have been demanding a push for Knight. It is going to be interesting to see whether the 40-year-old responds to Paul Heyman’s remarks.
LA Knight was busted open by Austin Theory on SmackDown
Knight was involved in a solid opener for SmackDown against Austin Theory. The match was set up to determine the number one contender for the United States Championship. Theory came out victorious in the match with a distraction from The Miz. However, during the match, Knight suffered a laceration on his forehead.
The former United States Champion threw Knight head first into the turnbuckle, which caused a cut in his forehead. Fortunately, LA Knight didn’t suffer any injuries in the match. The laceration didn’t result in any concussions, either. However, Knight lost the match due to ringside interference from the A-Lister.
