The Bloodline saga has been on hiatus for the past few weeks. At SummerSlam, Jimmy Uso made the decision to betray his twin brother, Jey Uso, in the main event. Despite giving an explanation, he was superkicked by Jey, who announced he was quitting WWE. Amidst the ongoing turmoil, Paul Heyman commented on the situation.
The Wise Man of Roman Reigns revealed why Jimmy will return to the faction while appearing on The Bump. Heyman pointed out the former Tag Team Champion’s younger brother, Solo Sikoa, as a major reason for him to ally again with The Bloodline. Furthermore, he claimed that Sikoa’s love could play a key role in convincing Jimmy.
“Forget about the money and the fame and the honor and the prestige; there’s the love of his younger brother, Solo” said Paul E. Moreover, he backed the 38-year-old to join forces with his family. As a result, Jimmy Uso will return this week on SmackDown for the first time to address the situation.
Previously, the Tribal Chief offered his cousin a reward for helping him at the Biggest Party of The Summer. However, it was revealed by Jimmy that his betrayal had nothing to do with Roman. He revealed that he didn’t want Jey to become self-narcissistic and selfish like the Undisputed Universal Champion.
Paul Heyman paid homage to ECW legend, Terry Funk

Terry Funk passed away at the age of 79 on August 23. The wrestling fraternity paid tribute to the Hall of Famer as special segments were held to honor his legacy. Moreover, former ECW owner Paul Heyman broke his silence on the topic and commented on the demise of his friend.
Paul spoke on The Bump about how much Terry meant to him. First, he revealed that he had the extraordinary pleasure of speaking with him in the last few weeks of his life. “I got a chance to let him know there was no pun intended acknowledgment of the greatness of the performers in ECW without them getting into the ring with Terry Funk,” said Heyman on why he didn’t previously speak.
Furthermore, the Wise Man stated that Cody Rhodes‘ speech on Terry Funk had moved him. He praised the mindset of his former co-worker by stating that the legend always had the right balance between the pursuit of greatness and performance. All in all, it truly was a heartfelt tribute by one of the pioneers of professional wrestling.
