The crowd is always delighted to see Brock Lesnar in the ring. This Saturday too, the crowd got the perfect dose of entertainment at the Royal Rumble from the beast incarnate. Brock Lesnar entered the Rumble at number 12 and did what he does best.

Lesnar literally dominated the match, just like he always has. The Former WWE Champion tossed bodies over the rope just like throwing soft toys. He eliminated Chad Gable, Santos Escobar, and Angelo Dawkins before being eliminated by Bobby Lashley.

Brock Lesnar attempted to deliver an F-5 to his current rival, Lashley, but the almighty managed to get down and push Lesnar towards the rope. He then clotheslined the beast incarnate to eliminate him from the match.

The elimination was taken well by Lesnar, and his uncontrollable rage made him destroy the ringside equipment. He also took out his anger on Baron Corbin, who was on his way to the ring. Lashley was later eliminated by Seth Rollins.

Lesnar had recently cost Lashley the US Championship match on RAW XXX. He also attacked the almighty on this week’s SmackDown. The rivalry, which clearly hadn’t ended at Crown Jewel, will surely continue.

A third singles match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar may be on the cards. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is pushing hard for Lesnar vs. Lashley to happen. He stated that instead of Gunther, they are looking at Lashley as the probable opponent for Lesnar at WrestleMania.

“It’s possible they could do Lesnar vs Lashley at Elimination Chamber and Lesnar vs GUNTHER at WrestleMania……The GUNTHER one felt like a tease, they felt like something for someday we got this in our pocket, the Lashley one felt like ‘this is a WrestleMania.”

The Royal Rumble match also gave a tease of a probable bout between Brock Lesnar and Gunther in the future. The two men traded some blows with each other, and Lesnar delivered a suplex to Gunther.

Lesnar was then speared by Bobby Lashley. The stare down between Gunther and Brock Lesnar received a huge pop and indicated that fans also want these two absolute brutes to share the ring someday.

During a recent chat with Tim Battle & Eli on the Battleground Podcast, Gunther spoke on the possibility of a bout against Brock Lesnar. He stated that he would grab the opportunity with both hands as it is an opportunity to prove himself.

Gunther went on to praise the beast incarnate, calling him unique and a phenomenal wrestler. Gunther claimed to have studied and understood the psychology behind Brock Lesnar’s matches and referred to him as the best ever to do it.

“Yeah, definitely. To get the opportunity to prove myself in that scenario would be fantastic. When I started as a wrestler and got back into wrestling, I always watched Brock’s matches because they are fantastic……You can tell he’s one of the best to ever do it. If I get a chance to get in the ring with him, I would gladly take it.”

Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar will surely happen in the near future. Whenever it happens, it will certainly be one of the best matches of each of their careers. Gunther is proving himself day by day. At the Rumble, he again proved how tough he is by being the last one in the ring to get eliminated by Cody Rhodes. He also set the record for performing in the Rumble match for the longest time, lasting 1:11:25.
