Cody Rhodes in WWE
Cody Rhodes‘ trip had just begun, and it had to be a fantastic one because he was in terrific shape until his unfortunate injury before the Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event. As we know, despite the injury, Cody Rhodes fought in the bout and defeated Seth Rollins.
The match is now regarded as one of the best matches of 2022, Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer giving it 5 stars. Rhodes also won the ESPY award for the WWE moment of the year for his return to the WWE at WrestleMania. He also beat out The Undertaker‘s Hall of Fame induction to win the award.
No one in the Rhodes family has ever been a WWE Champion, and Cody Rhodes is determined to be the first. During his initial tenure in the WWE, he was a good mid-carder who could have even achieved the top spot if he had stayed, but Rhodes departed the business due to a lack of creative freedom and a desire to stop the Stardust gimmick.
Rhodes then honed his wrestling talents by competing in promotions like NJPW and Ring of Honor. Nevertheless, Cody Rhodes will now surely become the WWE Champion as he seems to be better than ever and unstoppable.

Cody Rhodes was supposed to return at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, however according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody Rhodes may make an appearance before the Royal Rumble.
According to sources, Rhodes is doing well right now, but he should take prudence and chose just light weights. Meltzer stated that Cody’s return will be a surprise and that Day 1 may be the location for his return due to the event being held in Cody’s hometown of Atlanta.
“Rhodes appears to be a little ahead of schedule in healing. He’s working with DDP. Things are normal for him in real life but obviously any upper body weights he can use are extremely light. There’s no firm date for a return this early, and even when there is, I would expect it’ll be kept quiet for a surprise pop. Originally the idea of Rumble looked good. Perhaps Day 1 since it’s in Atlanta and he grew up and still lives there.”
Cody Rhodes will surely try to get in a feud with whoever will be the champion at that time as he aims to be the WWE Champion.
