Plan B for the main event against WWE Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam revealed

Roman Reigns new contract with WWE is said to allow him for a Fewer live events and this might be the reason that reigns hasn’t yet appeared in WWE. Roman Reigns is expected to appear on SummerSlam and was speculated to face “The Viper” Randy Orton in a main event. Orton has been out of action since last month and last competed against the usos for the Tag team unification match, which he and riddle lost to them.

According to reports, “The Tribal Chief” was slated to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam for the Undisputed WWE Championship but it is unlikely that Randy Orton will be a part of the event. Randy Orton has been suffering from back problems, which initially were thought to be minor but it has been now revealed that Randy may miss the entire remainder of 2022.

Roman Reigns is set to face one half of the RK Bro duo Riddle today on SmackDown for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He was last seen in action with “The Scottish Warrior” at a live event in May. 

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE has Plan B for the SummerSlam main event against Roman Reigns. Big Names such as Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, and Gunther have been theorized to be a part of the main event against reigns, but it is unclear as of now, who would be facing “The Tribal Chief”.

Roman Reigns defeated “The Beast incarnate” Brock Lesnar at the grandest stage of all “Wrestlemania” and unified the Universal and WWE Championships at Wrestlemania 38. He is also set to appear on RAW one time before SummerSlam.  Earlier there were reports that “The Tribal Chief” would be facing a WWE Legend at SummerSlam. We don’t know who Roman reigns might face at summerslam, i guess we might have to wait for it till next month to find out.
